Overview

Founded in 1970 in Taiwan, PROSPEROUS started out by trading and exporting of gifts, homeware to importers all over the world, with majority of the product going to the United States and later expanded to include luggage, sport bags, laptop cases and cosmetic bags. By doing all the different types of items, PROSPEROUS understood that quality and development are the key elements in order to be successful, and thereby decided to focus on bags and packs for sporting bands which are the biggest part of accessories with a lot of growth potential.

In early 1990s , PROSPEROUS’s expertise on bag development and great execution on quality caught the attention of internationally renowned sports brands that were looking to diversify into the accessories market by adding more backpacks to their existing product portfolios. In order to accommodate to the continued business growth, PROSPEROUS set up its Hong Kong office during the period of time.

Aiming at growing with global brands for long term partnership and also become a leading player in the industry, PROSPEROUS commenced first production plant in Dongguan, China in 1997 gaining full control over development, production lead-time and consistent product quality. While more and more global renowned causal backpacks brands became its clientele, PROSPEROUS positioned itself as a value-creator not only engaged in manufacturing, but integrated PDM and SCM services ranging from product development ,product design optimization, raw material recommendation and development, prototyping, production management, quality control to logistics and delivery.

To achieve the goals, PROSPEROUS enhanced its manufacturing capability and flexibility by expanding manufacturing platform in China in 2004, in Vietnam in 2008 and Cambodia as well which has commenced production in February 2018. Furthermore, in order to maintain competitiveness amidst the ever-changing industry, PROSPEROUS keep on its devotion in manufacturing innovation and automation for continuous efficiency and quality improvement even though it has over 20 years of experience in bags and packs manufacturing.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, PROSPEROUS is a financially sound corporation and has a branch office in Taiwan governed by experienced management team with in-depth industry knowledge.
